The Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine and Suwa Shrine "Autumn Annual Festival," an autumn tradition of the Nishijima district, will be held. Mikoshi (portable shrines) and festival floats will parade gallantly through the Nishijima district and also visit Roadside Station Nishijima Washi no Sato Kamisuki Park. At the roadside station, various stalls will line up to enliven the festival. On Sunday, October 11, a portion of the road in front of Roadside Station Nishijima Washi no Sato Kamisuki Park will become a pedestrian-only zone with food stalls and more. At night, visitors can also enjoy fireworks illuminating the night sky. Same-day participation is possible for pulling the festival floats.
