At Sansui Tokuma no Sato Campsite in Nambu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, the night event "Bamboo Lantern Night" is being held for the first time, utilizing local bamboo and the rich nature of the Fukushigawa Valley. This hands-on experiential event features handcrafted bamboo lanterns lit along the clear stream, inviting visitors to relax while feeling the gentle murmur of the river and the atmosphere of a summer night. The warm light filtering through the bamboo and its reflection on the river surface create a magical space. In addition, visitors can enjoy "Ashi-mizu" (foot soaking in the shallows diverted from the pure Fukushigawa stream into the facility), a "Night Sauna" surrounded by nighttime nature illuminated by bamboo lanterns, and a "Night BAR" serving charcoal-grilled rainbow trout and beverages. This event proposes a fresh way to enjoy the night by making the most of local resources whose charm shines best after dark.
