The "Lake Yamanaka Sunset Shore Autumn Leaves Festival," an autumn tradition that colors Lake Yamanaka, will be held again this year. Set in Asahigaoka Lakeside Green Park, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Beaches, the lakeside promenade will be illuminated, creating a fantastical autumn foliage landscape. The dramatic night view woven by Mount Fuji and the colorful trees enchants visitors. The park is equipped with walking paths and benches with tables, allowing you to stroll while enjoying the autumn leaves during the day as well. Illuminations take place daily from 16:30 to 20:30, offering a leisurely enjoyment of nature's mystery on a quiet night. An information desk is set up at the venue entrance, distributing brochures and flyers. Many stalls are scheduled to open in the food area, and gourmet food can also be enjoyed with annual wine festivals and special events planned. It is a popular event visited by over 100,000 people in typical years.
