Meet in Tabayama! 2026

About this event

This is a 2-day, 1-night overnight tour combining a relocation trial experience and matchmaking event held in Tabayama Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, targeting single women living in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Participants can enjoy new encounters and think about future living while experiencing the rich nature and community of this small village of 500 residents. On the first day, village strolls, pizza making, and a BBQ social gathering are planned, and on the second day, participants will join the 'Maitake Festival,' a gourmet event where they can taste the village specialty log-grown maitake mushrooms. On both days, single male village residents will serve as guides and deepen interactions with participants. The participation fee is 2,000 yen, which includes lodging, 2 meals, and the pizza-making experience. The capacity is 10 participants, open to single women aged 20 to 39 who are interested in relocating and also wish to enjoy meeting single men in the village. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until Monday, September 21. Since accommodations are based on 2 people per room, applying as a pair with a friend is recommended.
