Nurtured by the clear waters and rich nature of Tabayama Village, log-grown maitake mushrooms are an extremely rare specialty available for only about three weeks a year. At the 'Maitake Mushroom Festival,' which celebrates the harvest of these mushrooms, Tabayama Village specialty log-grown maitake mushrooms are sold, alongside dishes made with maitake (such as maitake soup). On the day of the event, sales of maitake cuisine and many other stalls will be lined up, allowing you to enjoy them with your family and friends. The event is held at Okue Camping Ground (FARMER'S WOOD CABIN OKUAKI CAMP), and admission is free. As the event date may change depending on the growth condition of the maitake mushrooms, prior confirmation is recommended.
