As a National Treasure Matsumoto Castle Week related event, the "Traditional Gunpowder Artillery Performance" will be held at Matsumoto Castle Park. In this demonstration, members of the Matsumoto Castle Gun Corps, the Aichi Ancient Artillery Research Society Artillery Corps, and the Sunpu Traditional Artillery Research Society Sunpu Gun Corps will showcase a powerful matchlock gun performance. It is a rare opportunity to experience historical techniques and sounds up close. Anyone can participate, and admission is free. Parking is also available.
