Genki Maruko Industry Festa 2026

The "Genki Maruko Industry Festa 2026," held in the Maruko area of Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, is an event that showcases the vitality and strength of the Maruko area's industries. The venue is the area around ASPINA Culture Hall (Ueda City Maruko Culture Hall), held from 9:10 to 15:30 (opening program from 9:00). A commerce and industry festival, ASPINA Festival (co-hosted), and craftsmanship workshops will be held. Of particular note is a special concert by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi and guitarist Kei Higuchi, sisters from Nagano Prefecture, held in the Main Hall from 13:30 to 14:30 (free admission). At the food corner, diverse gourmet dishes such as yakitori, pizza, bento boxes, and food truck offerings can be enjoyed, while the sales corner offers machine tools, agricultural products, household goods, ceramics, and tasting sales of local sake and wine. Visitors can also enjoy DIY experiences, farm machinery displays, a "Let's Make Our Own Coaster!!" workshop by Nagano Prefectural Technical College, keychain making using plastic bottle caps, and Japanese rice fish (medaka) scooping. A stamp rally where participants can tour the venue and try a gacha-gacha raffle will also be held, with prizes including Festa-exclusive local original keychains, Tomica toys, and gift certificates. A total of 400 parking spaces will be available, including the Shinano Kenshi parking lot.
