40th Inadani Culture and Arts Festival

About this event

This annual performing arts festival brings together amateur stage artists active in the Iida Shimoina region to present the fruits of their daily practice. At the Iida Cultural Hall, performances will include instrumental/traditional Japanese music, chorus, brass band, dance/traditional dance, and general stage acts. At the Iida Puppet Theater, puppet shows, theatrical plays, and band/pop music concerts are scheduled. The arts festival aims to help culture and the arts bring inspiration and joy of living to people, contributing to enriched lifestyles. As a citizen-driven performing arts festival operated through mutual cooperation among participating groups, it provides performing opportunities for children who will lead the next generation, fostering interest in the stage arts and helping nurture future performers. Held as a co-sponsored project with the Iida Culture Association, it promotes local culture while reflecting the voices of performing arts groups in cultural administration.
