Autumn Flavors! Mushroom Festival & Apple Picking Holiday

This popular annual tour lets you fully enjoy the autumn flavors of Shinshu Suzaka. After staying overnight at Minenohara Kogen, you will head to the mountains in the Nirei district of Suzaka City the next day. Here, participants can experience harvesting mushrooms themselves. The collected mushrooms can be appraised by a mushroom expert ("Doctor Mushroom"), and you can also take them home on the spot. Furthermore, at the outdoor party where you can taste freshly picked mushrooms, special local matsutake rice and mushroom soup are served, allowing you to enjoy autumn flavors along with warm hospitality. Another highlight of this tour is that it includes not only mushroom foraging but also an apple-picking experience at an orchard in Suzaka City. While savoring the deliciousness of freshly picked apples, this event is perfect for making wonderful memories with family and friends.
