Saku City Mochizuki Koma-no-Sato Grass Horse Racing Competition

About this event

This is a grass horse racing competition held at a specially set up racecourse inside the Mochizuki General Ground in Saku City. In races held on a 400-meter-per-lap track, heartwarming and humorous scenes can be seen, such as horses that do not run as their riders intend or horses running backwards on the track. Visitors can enjoy up-close viewing of cute pony races unique to grass horse racing and the powerful galloping of thoroughbreds. Direct sales of local agricultural produce and an animal petting corner are also set up. A shuttle bus will operate between the front of the Saku City Mochizuki Branch Office and the venue.
