The 'Obasute Night Market' will be held, offering a chance to eat, listen, and enjoy under the moonlit night of Obasute. Celebrating the night of Obasute—famous for 'Tagoto no Tsuki' (moon reflected in every terraced rice paddy)—the event will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Japan Heritage Center in Chikuma City. Food sales and the opening ceremony will begin at 17:00, followed by a colorful array of evening events including a performance by the KBE Kamiyamada Brass Band, a showcase of original dance music, the distribution of Tsukimi dango (moon-viewing dumplings), performances by the Axis kids dance team & dance unit, and a dedication by the Obasute Kagura Association.
