'Hands-Free Stargazing Gathering,' held on Nobeyama Highlands in Minamimaki Village, Nagano Prefecture, is an event where you can casually enjoy a starry sky at a celestial sanctuary selected as one of Japan's Top Three Stargazing Spots. Its main feature is that you can participate empty-handed, allowing beginners and families to join with peace of mind. On the day of the event, in addition to the night stargazing gathering, daytime nature activity tours, workshops, and food trucks are available, allowing you to experience the rich nature and cosmic romance of Minamimaki Village throughout the day. In particular, the brilliance of the stars spreading across the entire night sky is breathtakingly beautiful, offering an emotional experience that cannot be felt in cities. Guided tours of the Nobeyama Radio Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan will also be held, deepening your understanding of the universe.
