Learning the History and Present of Omikuji: AR Omikuji & Volunteer Study Exchange Event

This is a small-group exchange event where participants can learn about AR Omikuji (augmented reality fortune slips) and the initiatives of the Japan New Year Association while gaining knowledge about traditional culture. Questions such as 'What is AR Omikuji?' and 'What kind of organization is the Japan New Year Association?' can be explored in a relaxed setting. On the day, the program is flexibly tailored to the interests and age groups of the participants, making it easy for anyone to enjoy. Topics include the roots and evolution of omikuji, behind-the-scenes stories of the development of AR Omikuji and its free provision to educational settings, the vision, entertainment, and educational projects of the Japan New Year Association, and introductions to accessible volunteer activities. It is a networking event to enjoyably learn and discuss the fusion of traditional culture with digital technologies like AR Omikuji, as well as the long history of omikuji.
