Shinshu NAGAWA MOUNTAIN TRAIL 2026

About this event

"Shinshu NAGAWA MOUNTAIN TRAIL 2026", held in Nagawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, is a trail running event where runners race through the wonderful fields of the Kirigamine and Central Watershed Trail. Following the well-received event last year, it will be held again this year, allowing participants to run while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery. The event features a 45km division (cumulative elevation gain approx. 1,800m, 10-hour time limit, capacity 200 people, entry fee 12,000 yen) and a 15km division (cumulative elevation gain approx. 1,000m, 4-hour time limit, capacity 200 people, entry fee 7,000 yen), open to healthy participants aged junior high school or high school and above. In addition, there is a 1.5km kids division (entry fee 3,000 yen) for elementary school students, making family participation possible as well. A new dog run event is also scheduled to be held on the same day, with adjustments currently underway. Entry via Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) quota is also available for the 45km and 15km divisions. The event takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and will be held rain or shine (canceled in stormy weather). The venue is Blanche Takayama Ski Resort in Nagawa Town, Nagano Prefecture. The entry period runs from Monday, June 1, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026, but will close once capacity is reached.
