51st Nakagawa Village Cultural Festival

The 51st Nakagawa Village Cultural Festival, a celebration of culture and arts in Nakagawa Village, will be held. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase the results of daily creative activities and practice. The exhibition section will be open to the public from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8 at the Community Gymnasium, and the stage section will take place on Sunday, November 8 at the Culture Center Main Hall. For the stage section, performance start times may vary slightly depending on application status. In addition, the cultural festival will feature hands-on experience and demonstration corners, light refreshment corners, and a flea market. Volunteer staff to assist with the festival's operation are also being recruited. In the exhibition section, setup of works and exhibits will take place on Thursday, November 5, followed by the public opening from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8. In the stage section, a dress rehearsal will be held on Saturday, November 7, with the main performance taking place on Sunday, November 8. After the festival concludes, a Fukumanrai (rice cake throwing) event is also scheduled in front of the library. The application deadline for exhibitors and performers was Friday, September 4. The joint representative meeting regarding festival management was held on Tuesday, September 29 in the Culture Center Audio-Visual Room. Stage rehearsals took place from Wednesday, October 7 to Monday, November 2, and the panel setup and management meeting for the exhibition section was held on Wednesday, November 4 at the Community Gymnasium. Teardown work for the exhibition section will be carried out on Sunday, November 8.
