Urugi Village Autumn Colors Thanksgiving & New Rice Festival

The "Autumn Colors Thanksgiving," where you can savor the autumn flavors of Urugi Village, and the "New Rice Festival," featuring the sale of freshly harvested rice, will be held. Local specialties unique to Minami-Shinshu Urugi, such as seasonal vegetables, fruits, and handmade processed items, will be available at reasonable prices. The sale of "hazakake rice," known as the latest-harvested new rice anywhere, is a particular highlight. Packed with events including jumbo Gohei mochi making, a lottery draw, and rice cake scattering (nagemochi), it will be a lively day celebrating the autumn harvest of Urugi Village. Admission is free, but purchases at individual booths are paid.
