Tenryu Village was founded on September 30, 1956 (Showa 31) through the merger of Hiraoka Village and Kamihara Village, reaching the major milestone of its 70th anniversary this year. To celebrate this memorable year together with residents, reflect on its history, and look forward to a bright future, various commemorative projects are being held throughout the year. As the core centerpiece project, the "Tenryu Village 70th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony, Commemorative Concert, and Commemorative Lecture" will take place. At the ceremony, awards will be presented to individuals who contributed to the village's development, marking the 70th anniversary milestone. For the concert, the female duo Paix2, who deliver heartfelt messages through song and talk, will perform. In addition, TV broadcaster Jin Kusano will deliver a lecture on the theme "Always with a Spirit of Challenge." This ceremony will be an important opportunity to celebrate the village's history and connect to its future.
