2026 Okhotsk Woodcraft Festival

The 2026 Okhotsk Woodcraft Festival, a celebration of wooden products representing Okhotsk, will be held. The venue will be packed with events allowing visitors to fully enjoy the charm of wood, including craft workshops by local studios and Mokuiku (wood education) masters, firewood chopping, and Molkky experiences. There will also be in-person sales of wooden products by craftspeople and makers, and the woodworking workshop corner will offer various workshops such as making Pagoda tree clocks, keychains and magnets, single-flower vases, and personal chopsticks. In addition, there will be wooden fishing lotteries and a Mokuiku quiz rally corner for the whole family, from children to adults, to enjoy. Free distribution of tree seedlings (limited quantity) will also take place. The Kitami Autumn Festival - Okhotsk Marche 2026 will be held on the same day, promising a lively atmosphere.
