Held at Onishi Park in Oshika Village, Nagano Prefecture, "Oh! Shika Festival 2026" is a community-focused festival packed with the village's charms. Visitors can enjoy music stages by artists from inside and outside the village, dance, singing, performing arts, craft exhibitions, Oshika food, and Oshika vegetables. In particular, experiencing the village's best highlights against the spectacular backdrop of Onishi Park is a major appeal. At the food stalls, homemade crepes with pesticide-free blueberries, yakisoba, gohei mochi, and more can be savored. In the workshops, letter workshops, makeup, art sales, and mask- and puppet-making for children can be experienced. In the craft exhibition, a rich variety of handmade items, picture postcards, macrame accessories, pottery, and woodwork are lined up. Additionally, performances such as Japanese taiko drumming, kiyari songs, and celebratory taiko drums will be showcased on the Onishi Sakura Stage, with visitor-participation programs also planned. With live painting and Tipi exhibitions, art can be enjoyed as well. It is a smile-filled festival where guests can connect with Oshika Village's nature, culture, and the warmth of its people.
