Nordic Walking Half Marathon Nagano 2026

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, the 'Nordic Walking Half Marathon Nagano 2026' will be held in nature-rich Iizuna Town, Nagano Prefecture. Centered around Lake Reisenji, four courses of 21 km, 13 km, 8 km, and 5.5 km utilizing the Shinshu Lake Reisenji Nordic Walking Course and the Lake Reisenji Green Belt are prepared. Time measurement is also conducted for select categories. Reception opens at 8:00, and all courses start simultaneously at 9:30 following the opening ceremony and warm-up. The closing ceremony is scheduled for around 14:00, with a raffle draw also taking place. The participation fee is 6,000 yen and includes a participation gift, bento boxed lunch, and hot spring bath admission. If rental poles are desired, an additional 500 yen is required. The participant capacity is 400 people, and the application deadline is Friday, August 21, 2026 (postmarked on the day valid). The event secretariat is handled by the Iizuna Town Tourism Association.
