In Ogaki City, civic groups and lifelong learning organizations active in various fields gather to showcase their regular achievements at the "Kagayaki Life Town Ogaki 2026 Autumn Gathering," providing citizens with opportunities to discover new activities, engage in community participation, and socialize. The event begins with an opening ceremony (from 9:30) emceed by the Ogaki Nishi High School Student Council and featuring a performance by the Japanese taiko drum club "Enbutai." The venue will host "Kagayaki Activity Introductions" presenting the work of local civic groups via display panels, "Kagayaki Experience Workshops" where participants can try out group activities (fees apply to some), and "Kagayaki Stage Presentations" showcasing the music and dance achievements of participating groups. Furthermore, a wide variety of hands-on programs are available, including the "All-in-One Experience Bingo" completed by collecting stickers, "Energetic Parent-Child Ground Golf" (Ogaki Park Lawn Plaza; canceled in case of rain), a "Calligraphy of Words Dedicated to You" booth by calligraphers (paid), "Run! Mini 4WD Race" on a dedicated track, and "Charity Photo Can Badges" where photos taken on-site are turned into badges (paid, badge proceeds donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society). Additionally, visitors can try emergency toilets and disaster-relief mats at the Disaster Prevention Goods Experience Corner, enjoy playing with wooden blocks and crafting small wooden items at the "Suku-Suku Wood Education Experience," or ride the "Daiko Train" built by the Ogaki Technical High School Electrical Club (canceled in case of rain), offering a full day of enjoyment for both adults and children.
