About this event
With the goal of continuing for 10 years and now in its 6th year, the music event YAGURA will be held at Isshiki no Mori Camp Ground in Shokawa-cho, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Under the themes of A Movie-Like Night and Forest of Light and Sound, two music-filled days are planned. Aiming to create a one-of-a-kind space with its own sustainability and passion—neither commercialism nor a mere local festival—the production and area layout have been refined. Pursuing a comfort where you can feel the happiness found in margins, the magical experience of light and sound unfolding in a real forest offers reunions with familiar friends and new encounters. It is a special annual event where live performances, DJs, and traditional performing arts handed down in local Shokawa blend together amidst VJ lighting and fire glow.
