The Tajimi City Incorporation Memorial Fireworks Festival, a premier event representing Tajimi City, attracts many visitors from both inside and outside the city. Centered on planning and management by the "Tajimi City Incorporation Memorial Fireworks Festival Executive Committee" formed by citizen volunteers, it is hosted through sponsorships from supporting corporations and organizations. Although usually held in summer, it will be held in autumn in fiscal year 2026. Reserved viewing seats (Sajiki-seki) are prepared so you can enjoy the beautiful fireworks, and tickets are required for guests of elementary school age and older. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Tajimi City PR Center, Tajimi Station Tourist Information Center, Tajimi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and FamilyMart stores nationwide. Same-day tickets will not be sold if advance tickets are sold out. To ease traffic congestion around the venue, temporary parking lots on the day of the fireworks festival are paid and require reservations. Temporary paid parking lots will be established at Seika Elementary School, Showa Elementary School, and Yosei Elementary School, and advance reservations are required for use. Stopping or saving spots within the traffic control area is prohibited. In the free viewing areas, viewing while standing or sitting on the street is permitted during traffic control hours.
