Seki Factory Tour Days 2026

Held in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the Seki Factory Tour Days 2026 is an open-factory event where various factories across Seki City—a thriving center of manufacturing, especially cutlery—are opened to the public all at once. Started in 2014, this year marks its 13th edition. This year's theme is 'The Factory is Seki's Museum.' In addition to factory tours and workshops, content designed to convey a 'museum' feel has been planned. The annually popular stamp rally, uniform exhibition, and sales and food/beverage markets are also scheduled. It will be 3 days where visitors can experience the moments where things are made, something not normally visible. The Seki Mini Metal Art Exhibition will be held simultaneously, featuring open submissions for metal art pieces and an awards ceremony. Admission is free, though some workshops may require a participation fee. Factory tours and workshops requiring advance reservations must be booked through the official website.
