About this event
The 'Momiji Road Light-Up' will be held in the Ena Gorge (Enakyo) area. Visitors can enjoy beautiful illuminated autumn foliage from sunset until 22:00. Ena Gorge is an artificial lake created about 100 years ago by damming the Kiso River with Oi Dam, and the autumn foliage coloring the lake surface in autumn is its charm. Around the natural monument Kasa-iwa (Umbrella Rock), the maple leaves turn deep vibrant colors, vividly adorning the lake surface. It is also known as a famous autumn foliage spot selected as one of the '33 Best Autumn Foliage Spots in Hida and Mino.' By taking a sightseeing boat, you can enjoy both the strangely shaped rocks and boulders on both banks and the autumn leaves at the same time. The event period in 2026 is from November 14 to December 5.
