The "2026 Kakamigahara Genki Festival & Industrial Festa" will be held at venues including Kakamigahara Citizens' Park. In the Genki Festival section, visitors can enjoy goldfish scooping, bouncy ball scooping, craftsmanship workshops, pastry chef experience (candy & warabi mochi), original pin-back button making, parent-child Christmas tree craft workshops, hairpin making, shaved ice stalls, silk painting (ekinu) workshops, fireworks displays, and more. The Industrial Festa section features game and experiential programs such as mystery-solving games and a croissant tasting/appraisal event. As a special Kakamigahara City program, a local goods fair by friendship cities (Kaminoyama City in Yamagata, Hakui City in Ishikawa, Tsuruga City in Fukui, Kai City in Yamanashi, Yaizu City in Shizuoka, Izumisano City in Osaka, and Akune City in Kagoshima) will be held to sell regional specialty products. Workshops scheduled include assembling with eraser blocks (Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.), crafting hinoki aroma sprays and sachets (Gifu Lumber Industry Cooperative), and displaying hometown tax donation return gifts (by local partner businesses, etc.). Furthermore, a display titled "Working Vehicles Gather! Climb Aboard & Try Them Out!" will feature police vehicles, fire engines, water tank trucks, armored cash transport vehicles, community buses, taxis, trucks, and excavators. A live performance by the Gifu Prefectural Police Band vocal unit "Danzetsu" to prevent fraud through song will also be held. Some experiences are free, but most require a fee.
