Participatory Marche "Michitokiten"

About this event

"Michitokiten" is a participatory market based on the concept of people gathering where roads intersect to create new scenery. Held under the theme "Playing Together: This is the Beginning of the Road/Unknown," it is hosted as an event connected to the future of Gujo. In 2026, focusing particularly on spice curry, 7 selected curry shops along the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway and the Chubu Jukan Expressway will gather in one place. In addition to curry, approximately 70 stalls are scheduled to open at the venue, featuring specialty foods and drinks, hands-on experiences, crafts, and retail goods. Interactive content for children includes "Kumunda," playground equipment made with Gujo wood, as well as rap battles and dance battles. Furthermore, the "Expressway Thorough Anatomy Exhibition" organized by NEXCO Central Japan Group will be held, offering a behind-the-scenes look at expressways. This year, the "Night" segment has been enhanced, allowing visitors to enjoy a special time savoring gourmet food and alcoholic beverages while gazing at the stars in nature. Having welcomed over 4,000 visitors during its single-day run last year, the event expands to 2 days this year.
