2026 Battle of Sekigahara Day Events

Various events will be held centering around September 15, the decisive day of the Battle of Sekigahara. At the Gifu Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum, the 'Beacon Tour 2026' will be held to allow visitors to relive the atmosphere of the battle, featuring beacon viewing, demonstrations by the Sekigahara Matchlock Gun Troop, beacon-raising experiences, and gas cannon firing experiences. Tour participants will receive exclusive goshuin (temple/shrine stamps), original goods, and date-stamped rubber wristbands as special gifts. Additionally, on Battle of Sekigahara Day, various projects such as warlord stamp distributions, acquisition of limited titles, new product releases, giveaway campaigns, and collaborative merchandise sales will take place at the Sekigahara Station Tourist Exchange Center, Sasao-yama Exchange Center, and the Gifu Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum Annex Shop. At Jinbano Park, grass art featuring Ishida Mitsunari's flag insignia 'Daiichi Daiman Daikichi' will appear, along with a special lecture by Shogo Imamura on the appeal of Ishida Mitsunari. Furthermore, exchange performances by the Nagoya Omotenashi Bushotai and Sekigahara-gumi, a Western Army fan meeting, and more are scheduled. Exclusive to Battle of Sekigahara Day, there will be armor-wearing experiences at special rates and distribution of limited rubber wristbands. A memorial service for the war dead of the Battle of Sekigahara will also be held, making it a day to reflect on the history of the battle. On September 22, the 'Yurutto Sengoku Walk in Sekigahara Special Day' featuring Hikonyan and Warunyanko Shogun will also be held.
