47th Kawabe Odori Fireworks Festival

About this event

The 47th Kawabe Odori Fireworks Festival will be held in Kawabe Town, Gifu Prefecture, under the theme "Lingering Summer Memories Lighting up the Riverside." Spectacular fireworks will be launched. To relieve congestion around the venue, part of the lakefront will be a town-resident-only viewing area (free, lottery-based), and general parking will be paid and require advance reservations. In addition to the fireworks display, the opening of food and beverage stalls, event start, the grand fireworks show, and the Kawabe Odori (Bon dance) are scheduled, structured in two parts for visitors to enjoy. If postponed due to stormy weather, rising water levels, etc., only the fireworks will be held on Saturday, September 26.
