"Shizuoka Prefecture Local Sake Festival 2026" is an event where 22 sake breweries from Shizuoka Prefecture gather, allowing visitors to appreciate the rich charm of local Japanese sake. Characterized by gorgeous aromas, crisp and light flavors, a smooth mouthfeel, and a clean, sharp finish, Shizuoka sakes can be tasted while speaking directly with brewery representatives. Inside the venue, in addition to free tastings at brewery booths across Shizuoka Prefecture, snacks and dishes will be sold via in-venue food tickets. The "National Sake Tasting Championship Shizuoka Preliminary" will also be held concurrently, open to all ticket holders of this event. Rotating annually between eastern, central, and western Shizuoka Prefecture, the 2026 event will take place at Kiramesse Numazu inside Plaza Verde in Numazu City.
