About this event
The 7th AtaWan Marche is a seaside market held at Nagahama Seaside Park in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026, welcoming both dog owners with their pets and general visitors. More than 80 booths will gather at the venue, featuring dog-friendly products and services, food trucks, Atami local specialties, and interactive hands-on content. In addition to a mini food truck festival and the Atami local products exhibition 'Jimo Fes,' a test-ride event will be held for the 'E-CarryBike Doggie' electric mobility bike that you can ride together with your dog. There will also be free servings of charcoal-grilled dried fish (himono), a specialty of Minami-Atami and Ajiro, promoting the 'Ajiro Onsen Himono Festival' starting in November. Rescue dog adoption events and educational activities will be conducted in collaboration with 'PET LIKE CITY ATAMI,' a project connecting pets, people, and the community, offering tips for sightseeing in Atami with dogs. Special perks are also available in partnership with accommodations in the Minami-Atami area, allowing you to enjoy your stay in Minami-Atami along with the market. Admission is free.
