The Asagiri Plateau Festival is a regular annual event held for about a month every October in the Asagiri Plateau area sprawling across northern Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Surrounding sightseeing facilities—including Roadside Station Asagiri Kogen (Michi-no-Eki Asagiri Kogen), Asagiri Food Park, Fuji Milkland, Makaino Farm, Asagiri Kogen Mojiya, and Lake Tanuki Camp Site—collaborate to host diverse events. During the period, each facility offers various special perks, such as a 50% discount on E-BIKE (electric-assist bicycle) rentals. The "Asagiri Photo Contest" inviting photos taken around Mount Fuji will also be held. Asagiri Plateau is a lush green area located at an altitude of 700 to 1,000 meters on the western slopes of Mount Fuji, popular as a base for scenic drives and sightseeing. Dotted along Route 139 are roadside stations, petting farms with animals, spots serving popular soft-serve ice cream and local specialties, stylish cafes, and campgrounds, allowing visitors to fully enjoy autumn gourmet food, farm experiences, camping, and more.
