Sanyare Festival Fireworks Display 2026 (Ito)

Held as the kickoff to the fireworks that light up Ito in autumn and winter, the "Sanyare Festival Fireworks Display" is a fireworks event launched over the Ito Coast for approximately 20 minutes. Viewing is free, and no advance reservation is required. This fireworks display is the first installment in the "Autumn and Winter Ito Onsen Fireworks Display" series held mainly along the Ito Coast by the Ito Tourism Association from October to December. Ito, historically known as the town with the most fireworks in Izu with more than 9 displays held in summer, has in recent years made it possible to enjoy fireworks from autumn through winter as well. The appeal of this condensed 20-minute launch is being able to view the display up close, right down to the light reflected on the sea surface. A particularly recommended viewing spot is "Nagisa Park" adjacent to Ito Orange Beach, which is close to the launch site, allowing you to sit on the lawn and look up at the show. It is about a 15-minute walk from JR Ito Station, but there is no parking available.
