65th Ito City Arts Festival: Music Festival

About this event

Held as part of the 65th Ito City Arts Festival, the Music Festival spans two days—a Choral Division and an Instrumental Division—serving as a venue for musical activity groups in Ito City to present the fruits of their daily practice. The Choral Division will be held on Saturday, October 17, and the Instrumental Division on Sunday, October 18, both at the Ito City Tourism Hall. Based on autonomous operation by participants, the festival values respectful listening manners among performers while sharing the stage tension and sense of accomplishment, aiming to make music feel accessible to the audience and convey the joy of concerts. Eligibility is limited to groups (3 or more members) residing or working/studying in the city who regularly engage in musical activities. The participation fee is 300 yen per person for participants from groups not affiliated with the Music Federation, and 1,000 yen per group for student groups. Performing groups are assigned duties on the day of the event, and briefing meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 9 for the Choral Division and Wednesday, September 16 for the Instrumental Division.
