Susono Highland Trail Run 2026

About this event

This trail running event starts from Grinpa, located at the southern foot of Mount Fuji, and takes runners through a nature-rich semi-highland area at an elevation of 1,250 to 1,450 meters. The full-fledged 28 km course includes part of the Mount Fuji climbing route and qualifies for 1 ITRA point. In addition, a 7 km course that is easy for trail running beginners to join, as well as a 2 km course that young children can casually take on, are also prepared so that a wide range of runners can enjoy the event. At the event, participants in the 28 km and 7 km courses will receive an original design towel, and participants in the 2 km course will receive a 1-day coupon as participation prizes. Awards will be given to the 1st through 3rd places for overall men and women by category, with prizes such as accommodation vouchers and admission tickets prepared. The capacity is 300 participants each for the 28 km and 7 km courses, 200 participants for the 2 km kids course, and 100 pairs for the parent-child course. Admission to the amusement park Grinpa is included in the participation fee, allowing participants to enjoy not only the race but also nearby tourist attractions such as Mizugazuka Park, Fuji Safari Park, and Healthy Park Susono.
