About this event

Held at Toi Onsen in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, the 'Toi Summer Festival Ocean Fireworks Display' is known as the largest fireworks festival in West Izu. In 2026, it will be held for three days from August 18 (Tue) to August 20 (Thu), launching approximately 2,000 fireworks each day. In addition to elaborately designed rapid-fire shots and starmine fireworks, the grand aerial Niagara that marks the finale of each day boasts a magnificent scale of approximately 200 meters in height and 500 meters in width, illuminating the summer night sky as bright as midday. The beauty of the fireworks can be fully enjoyed from the Matsubara Park Lawn Square special venue and the beach in front of Matsubara Park. Furthermore, non-fireworks events such as a raffle, taiko drum performances, and food/game stalls are planned at the special venue, further enlivening the summer night. The event is scheduled to take place between 19:00 and 21:00 (or 20:30 to 21:00).
