Japanese name:第29回全日本玉入れ選手権
📅 Sun, Sep 6, 2026
About this event
This is the national championship for "AJTA" (All Japan Tamaire Association), an original beanbag-toss sport that originated in Wassamu Town, Hokkaido. As a sport open to everyone, players and cheer squads now gather here from all over Japan. Easy to pick up yet surprisingly deep, it tests teamwork while promoting fitness and team bonding. Prizes include 100,000 yen in prize money plus local Wassamu specialty products for the Master Class, and local Wassamu specialty products for the Fun Play Class. In this competition, teams race against the clock to throw specialized balls into a basket within a 3-minute time limit. A total of 100 balls are used in the Master Class, and 50 balls in the Fun Play Class. Participants are required to bring and wear athletic shoes and sportswear.
