Visitor voting for the '36th Kenbuchi Picture Book Village Grand Prize' held in Kenbuchi Town, Hokkaido, is now starting. For this award, every visitor who comes to the Hall of Picture Books acts as a judge, voting for their favorite picture book among the works displayed at the venue. Fifty participants chosen by lottery will receive a copy of the grand-prize-winning picture book. Concurrently, the 'Boku Obake no Maru' original picture book illustration exhibition is also being held, making it an event where visitors can fully appreciate the charm of picture books.
