Held in Mori Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, the '39th Mori Town Industrial Festival 'Mori Mori 20,000 People Festival & JA Festival'' is an event bringing together farmers and commercial and industrial groups from both inside and outside the town, gathering Mori Town's specialty products, agricultural goods, and signature sweets. Visitors can enjoy items unique to Mori Town such as Jiro persimmons, wild yam (jinenjo), an event-exclusive Chestnut Steamed Yokan Tasting Set, and hand-rubbed tea demonstrations. A specialty fair from its sister town, Mori Town in Hokkaido, will also be featured, selling seafood such as ikameshi (squid stuffed with rice), scallops, and kelp. The venue's stage is scheduled to host programs like Japanese taiko drum performances by kindergarteners. Packed with activities for parents and children to enjoy together, the event also features meet-and-greets with Mori Town's PR mascot 'Komokomo' and appearances of working vehicles such as fire engines and police cars.
