About this event
Ichinomiya City in Aichi Prefecture is the birthplace of Yamanouchi Kazutoyo, a renowned military commander of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, and the '43rd Kisogawa-cho Kazutoyo Festival' will be held to honor this history. The main venue is Ichinomiya Municipal Kuroda Elementary School, with the surrounding areas of AEON MALL Kisogawa and Apita Power Kisogawa also serving as venues. The event will feature a Sengoku period parade centered around Lord Yamanouchi Kazutoyo in armor, as well as the Rakuichi Rakuza and Commerce and Industry Association Festival. In addition, a special live performance by the popular 'Saxophone Samurai' is scheduled, allowing visitors to fully enjoy a festival combining music and history. As there is no parking available around the venue, the use of public transportation is recommended. Shuttle buses will also be operating on the day.
