Mt. Horaiji Autumn Leaves Festival

At Mt. Horaiji, a sightseeing symbol of Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture, the 'Mt. Horaiji Autumn Leaves Festival' will be held to further enjoy the autumn foliage. During the period, various events are scheduled across Mt. Horaiji and the entire Omotesando approach area, with a special Event Day set for Sunday, November 22. On this day, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., events such as taiko drum performances and street performances, local products exhibitions, and riddle-solving events are scheduled to be held along the Mt. Horaiji Omotesando (the parking lot of Dining Kasasugi, former Kadoya Elementary School, etc.). In addition, traffic regulations will be implemented on the same day, prohibiting entry to the Mt. Horaiji Omotesando and surrounding roads except for local residents and related personnel. Access is about 20 minutes from the Shin-Tomei Expressway 'Shinshiro IC' and about 25 minutes from the San-En Nanshin Expressway 'Horaikyo IC.' For public transportation, the S-Bus Horaijisan Mokkuru Shinshiro Line operates from 'Yuya Onsen Station South' to 'Mt. Horaiji Summit,' with temporary operations on Sundays and holidays throughout November. On November 22, a shuttle bus will run from Horaiji Elementary School to the Horaiji Omotesando. As for parking on November 22, parking lots around Omotesando and Horaiji Elementary School parking lot will require a fee (1,000 yen), and because congestion is expected, using the free shuttle bus from the special parking lot at Horaiji Elementary School is recommended. The Horaijisan Parkway parking lot is also available.
