4th Shima Festival

About this event

Held under the theme "Packed with the charms of Shima!", the "4th Shima Festival" is a 2-day event on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, aimed at showcasing the attractions of Shima, revitalizing the region, and encouraging visitors. The event takes place across two venues: "Ise-Shima Plat HOME", a newly opened community hub in front of Kintetsu Ugata Station, and "Shima Green Adventure", an outdoor resort facility offering activities. At the first venue, "Ise-Shima Plat HOME", Day 1 will feature a "Healing Harp Performance" by a Mie-based lever harp player, soothing visitors with gentle music. On Day 2, a "Kids Magic Show" by a Kansai-based magician will offer family-friendly entertainment. In addition, the "Bread & Sweets Marche in Shima" will be held simultaneously with participating bakeries and pastry shops based in Shima City, allowing visitors to taste local specialty breads and sweets such as anpan, Western confectionery, and apple pie. Furthermore, a "Pencil Balloon Workshop Corner" will let children try balloon art for free, stimulating their creativity. At the second venue, "Shima Green Adventure", a collaboration event with the manga "Space Brothers" titled "Space Brothers: Aim for Astronaut Mission Rally in Shima Green Adventure ~we are space brothers~" will take place. As a "4th Shima Festival Special Initiative", showing the event flyer at the venue grants a 50% discount on the Field Pass (admission ticket) and a gift of an "original button badge", making it an unmissable event for fans. Through collaboration with local businesses, this event provides an opportunity to showcase Shima's charms from multiple angles.
