Held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Ago Arena and Parking Lot No. 1, the "Shima Fureai Commerce and Industry Festival 2026" is an event packed with the charms of Shima under the theme "See, Eat, Experience, and Enjoy!". The venue will feature numerous booths offering delicious Shima gourmet dishes, specialty products, sundry goods, and more. Stage events include a snack toss, performances by the Mie High School Dance Club, Outer Dance Team, and Shima Baton Twirling, as well as a tax quiz by the Ise Corporation Association. Furthermore, a special concert by Hitomi Arisa, a former member of the Takarazuka Revue Star Troupe, will be held, with Part 1 starting at 13:00 and Part 2 at 15:00. The exhibition and experience corners are packed with programs for the whole family from children to adults, including a special booth commemorating the 80th anniversary of Ise-Shima National Park's designation, an introduction of the Veertien Mie BB team, a Tekone Sushi making experience (first-come, first-served), and displays of fire department, police, and Self-Defense Forces vehicles. The event runs from 10:00 to 16:00, rain or shine, but will be canceled in severe weather.
