The '20th Anori Fugu Festival 2026', a regular event to enjoy Anori's specialty 'fugu' (pufferfish), will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Anorisaki Lighthouse Park. This year, the venue has been moved from the usual fishing port area to Anorisaki Lighthouse Park. The event is packed with activities enjoyable for both children and adults, including dedication prayers for fugu, live stage performances, game competitions, and candy scattering (kashi-maki). In addition, lottery tickets giving a chance to win 'Fuku (30,000 yen worth of fugu)' will be distributed to participants, and game tournaments with luxurious prizes will also be held. It is an event to happily invite good fortune (fuku) together in autumn Anori.
