About this event

The summer special exhibition "Found Rainbow Colors!" held at MIHO MUSEUM is a hands-on exhibition for both adults and children to enjoy. In this exhibition, various works themed around rainbow colors will be displayed, including the Yohen Tenmoku tea bowl (Important Cultural Property) from the MIHO MUSEUM collection, noted for its rainbow luster, as well as mother-of-pearl lacquerware and iridescent glass. While experiencing the wondrous phenomenon of light manifesting as color, visitors can explore how ancient people perceived rainbows and encounter the iridescent brilliance present all around us. Workshops and lectures will also be held, offering an opportunity to deeply explore the world of rainbow colors through all five senses.
