About this event
This is the autumn grand festival held at Kishitsu Shrine, situated in Ono, Hino Town, Shiga Prefecture. This festival is held in connection with Kishitsu Shrine, which enshrines Kishitsu Shushi (Gwisil Jipsa), a high-ranking official who came to Japan from the ancient Korean kingdom of Baekje. Because Kishitsu Shushi's father, General Fukushin (Gwisil Boksin), is enshrined at Eunsan Byeolsindang in Buyeo County, South Korea, active sister-city exchanges are also conducted.
