'Dance Competition at Taga Yui no Mori' is a dance contest held at Taga Yui no Mori in Taga Town, Inukami District, Shiga Prefecture. In the Street Division, solo and team contests are held where participants compete in their dance skills. The solo contest has a time limit of 90 seconds or less, and the team contest has a limit of 3 minutes or less, with age categories divided into U-12, U-18, and Open Class. The judging criteria comprehensively evaluate dance ability, including technical skill, composition, and expressiveness. In addition, the Entertainment Division allows participants to enjoy performances across any genre, such as J-POP, K-POP, anime songs, and TikTok. This division is only for the Open Class with no age restrictions, and has a time limit of 3 minutes or less. The judging criteria comprehensively assess entertainment ability, centering on technical skill, performance quality, and fashion. Awards will be given up to 3rd place and special awards for each division and class. The entry fee is 2,500 yen per person, and spectator tickets are 2,500 yen in advance and 3,000 yen on the day of the event. Residents of Taga Town can watch for free upon presenting identification. The entry deadline is Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 22:00, and the payment deadline is Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 22:00. Organized by MOJAMOJA, co-organized by Taga Town.
