About this event
"Okoto no Jikan" (Koto Time) will be held as part of the "Art Start" initiative, which provides infants with opportunities to experience art from babyhood. In this event, participants can listen to, watch, and physically touch koto performances. Performances will be given by Akemi Tatemichi (koto performer) and Yuri Utsumi (horn player), allowing parents and children to enjoy artistic moments together. In addition to performances, there will be sections where participants can touch the instruments and play along, offering a valuable opportunity for infants and toddlers to become familiar with music and art. Participation is free and advance reservations are required. The event is open to infants/toddlers residing in Maizuru City and their guardians, with a capacity of approximately 15 pairs (first-come, first-served).
