5th National Local Railway Supporters Summit in Kyotango

The "5th National Local Railway Supporters Summit in Kyotango (Kyoto Tango Railway)" will be held in Amino-cho, Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. Held for the first time in the Kinki region, this summit commemorates the 100th anniversary of the opening of Amino Station on the Miyazu Line, bringing together local railway enthusiasts from across Japan. The event aims to contemplate the future of local regions and railways together while deepening interactions. Part 1 features a keynote speech, and Part 2 presents case studies of local railway initiatives across the country. An exchange gathering among participants will also be held in the evening, where lively exchanges of opinions are expected. Furthermore, on the following day, October 4, a tour exclusive to summit participants visiting the Kyotango / San'in Kaigan Geopark, Kaya Railway Museum, and other sites will take place.
