Set in Mineyama-cho, Kyotango City, the 'Strolling and Rediscovering Our Town: Komaneko Walk 2026' will be held to rediscover local history and culture. This time, participants will explore the 'Mineyama-cho Yoshiwara Course', departing from Kyotango City Hall and strolling through Yoshiwara in Mineyama-cho. At Zensho-ji Temple, there is a valuable opportunity to experience Zazen meditation while listening to an explanation. Afterwards, participants will visit the Tango Earthquake Memorial Hall and Otabi Market to delve into the local charm. Students from Mineyama High School and Fukuchiyama Public University will serve as guides to help discover the history and hidden charms in the familiar town. It is an autumn town-walking event where you can rediscover the appeal of the area that is usually overlooked while taking a leisurely stroll through Mineyama in autumn.
